Job description: Professional Access CCTV & Electrical, or P.A.C.E. for short, is a well established security system integrator with over 25 years in the industry, that boasts a clientele that includes major utility companies, hospitals, International organizations and large homeowner associations just to name a few. We specialize in the design, installation and maintenance of Commercial Security Systems that include Electronic Access Control, CCTV/IP Video, Video Storage, Networking, Intrusion Detection and Perimeter Protection in the Southern California area. - High School Diploma or equivalence.
- Class “C” valid driver’s license required upon start date.
- The ideal Candidate will be reliable and able to work independently.
- Ability to physically perform responsibilities listed below.
- Maintain and adhere to operational procedures and complete appropriate documentation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word/ Excel.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unload inbound shipments safely and efficiently.
- Check incoming Merchandise against purchase orders, or other documents to ensure accuracy of shipments.
- Work with Purchaser / Inventory manager to make sure all is in place.
- Making sure that the incoming items are properly stored and labeled according to standard operating procedures.
- Making inventory of incoming shipments of goods or materials and noting any discrepancies between what was ordered and what was received. Report any damage to supervisor.
- Stock shelves with received merchandise according to company guidelines.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times. (Containment units, Bulls-I, hand tools, etc.)
- Delivering packages to customers’ businesses within a specified geographic area
- Perform other duties as assigned by the managers.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to
- Stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- The associate is frequently required to climb, stoop, kneel, balance and either lift or move up to 50 plus pounds.
- The associate is required to climb ladders safely and sometimes work from a ladder while stocking
- The associate is also required to operate or ability to learn to operate a scissor lift, drive a bucket truck/company vehicle and pull company trailer.
- Warehouse employees often work in an environment that is dusty, noisy, and not climate controlled.
