Job description: A company in Mississauga is looking for a well rounded individual to work in their Mississauga location as well as the trade show in MTCC.Shift timing: 8am-5pm
Rate: $18.50/hr
+ $100/day for meals ad hotel accomodation
Contract: project is for 6 weeks
Location: Mississauga and TorontoDuties are as follows:
PRE-SHOW:
1. Arrange and book trailers for the MOVE IN/OUT
Load at Boothworks
Deliver at Metro Toronto Convention Center
2. Prepare all the paperwork for TMU, UofT, Lakehead, Queens & UofG& Guelph Humber:
Certificate of Insurance
Fire and Safety
Electrical, Floor, and Storage Plan etc
3. Order Online, submit order Show Services forms, Furniture Rentals, etc

4. Book and Provide a Purchase Order to the Install and Dismantle team

5. Double-check all requirements needed per University
6. Provide all the paperwork PRINT OUT SUMMARY to Boothworks Leads
7. Make sure all crates and skids are properly labeled (per University)
8. Coordinate delivery hours and provide all paperwork to suppliers

INSTALL DAYS
1. Monitor the delivery of the crates/skids at the MTCC loading dock
Contact and wait for the carrier drivers onsite
Coordinate and provide paperwork for the inbound delivery with the MTCC Team
2. Provide instructions to the unloader team on where to deliver the crates/skids
3. Monitor the IN and Out of the install team per university
4. Provide wristbands and parking pass to the install & dismantle team
5. Check the installation of electrical drops, rigging, etc. if properly in place
6. Check with the client if there’s something to add or modify (show services orders, setup, etc)
7. Take photos of the setup for reference
DISMANTLE & POST-SHOW
1. Check with the client if there are special arrangements or requests with their products after the show (delivery details/address etc)
2. Monitor the IN and Out of the dismantle team per University
3. Coordinate with the Stronco team (Material Handling) about the delivery of the empty crates/skids at the assigned booths
4. Coordinate with Boothworks Leads about the arrival of the truck/s
5. Make sure all crates and skids are properly labeled (per University)
6. Coordinate with the truck drivers regarding arrival at the Marshalling Yard and MTCC loading dock
7. Monitor and record the carrier number per university once the crates/skids are loaded
8. Arrange shipment back to each University (literature, clients products, etc)OTHER PROJECTS:

2. Prepare Work Order for the Install and Dismantle Team
3. Coordinate and Order Show Services required

Job starts last week of August of just after labor day.
During time in toronto they will have their own hotel room and will receive 100 per day for food.
Must wear safety shoes. This person will be on their feet all day walking all day.
Must have fantastic attitude with a can do spirit.
The role is to ensure everything runs smoothly with the trade show.
