Job description: DescriptionThe Digital Modernization Sector has a career opportunity for a Technical Integration Manager supporting the USAF Defensive Cyber Systems Program Management Office’s Technical Integration Section at Joint Base San Antonio.The Technical Integration Section ensures that Branch products are developed and maintained in a manner consistent with requirements, priorities and vision. Also, the Section supports integration and collaboration with external stakeholders through digital engineering products and technical exchanges. Lastly, provides temporary technical support to product teams as needed to support effective capability delivery.Candidate must be able to be on site at Joint Base San Antonio.Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary support to the Technical Integration Section Chief, working directly with the customer to define needs, gather requirements, and manage the integration backlog.
- Apply systems engineering principles to oversee requirements analysis, design processes, and integration activities.
- Collaborate across Branch sections and with key stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and alignment of capabilities.
- Participate in technical reviews to ensure integration integrity and alignment with operational needs.
- Supervise Leidos employees and oversee the work of subcontractor personnel, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure effective performance and mission alignment.
- Actively promote Section and Branch objectives in partnership with internal stakeholders, fostering a collaborative integration environment.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders to drive integration success.
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach to support integration projects, focusing on delivering results that meet mission-critical objectives.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience. Equivalent work experience may substitute for a degree.
- Strong leadership skills with 4+ years of supervisory experience guiding technical teams toward successful project completion.
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+).
- In-depth knowledge of software development, system architecture, and IT infrastructure.
- Proven ability to tackle complex challenges with critical thinking and a detail-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated ability to triage, prioritize, and manage work efforts effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for team collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and senior-level reporting.
- Willingness to stay current with evolving technologies and adapt to changing business environments.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary team settings, supporting diverse skill sets and project goals.
- U.S. Citizenship required, with an active DoD Secret clearance and eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with project management tools like Jira or MS Project.
- Experience using diagramming tools such as MS Visio.
- Knowledge of modern software development methodologies.
- Background in data science and digital engineering tools and techniques.
