- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced LINUX, RedHat OpenShift environment to expertly design applications using JAVA, Spring Boot Microservices
- Act as the Technical Lead to coordinate with Application developers, Architects, Product Owners, and other SMEs to design appropriate solutions for scheduled releases
- Work efficiently with fellow API Developers, Team Leads, Architects to deliver features through the creation of reusable RESTful & SOAP APIs
- Design, Implement & Support solutions for API security, authentication, identity management, traffic management, analytics, and performance management for APIs
- Assist in design of APIs that meet core consistent standards
- Use Object-oriented Analysis & Design concepts proficiently to architect custom solutions
- Use expert-level proficiency in KAFKA to design data integration patterns and solutions (Data Streaming) to ensure successful product implementations
- Work with API Gateway, CDNs, API Performance testing, CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools
- Routinely handle relational databases like PostgreSQL, mySQL, Oracle etc. as well as NOSQL databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB in a cloud or on-premise setup
- Work in a Cloud AWS platform to design Cloud-agnostic custom solutions
- Use expertise with programming in C, C#, Python, Angular, WSDL etc.
- Work with Managed File Transfer (MFT) tools and solutions
- Create dashboards in Splunk using the logs aggregated from the custom applications
- Build integrations with various external services based on technical specifications
- Write and modify complex and efficient Stored Procedures and queries as needed
- Prepare effective test data and functional specifications
- Run efficient test scripts against code to ensure quality delivery and resolve code issues with urgency
- Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic Agile / SCRUM environment
- Proactive in learning new tools and technologies and proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and stringent deadlines.
- Monitoring and logging: Experience with centralized monitoring and centralized logging solutions
What we’re looking for
- Ten or more years of relevant architecting, engineering or software development experience
- Three or more years working with OpenShift Red hat Containerization
- Experience working with containers (Docker or similar container runtime engines) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift or similar)
- Experience in implementing and recommending enterprise integration patterns best practices and experience leveraging AWS Services and AWS Cloud architecture
- Good to have experience working with IBM MQ, and IIB
