Role SummaryIn this position, you will play a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top software talent to support Rivian’s growth. Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, this person will manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, an ability to engage with high-caliber candidates, and a passion for delivering a positive candidate experience.Please note, this is a 6 month contract, with the ability to extend an additional 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for software engineering and other technical roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Proactively source top-tier software talent through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes and interview candidates to assess technical skills and cultural fit.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and ensure alignment with recruiting strategies.
- Provide regular updates and insights to hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leadership on the recruiting pipeline and progress.
- Facilitate candidate interviews, manage feedback loops, and support hiring decisions.
- Negotiate offers and manage the closing process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Leverage data and recruiting metrics to identify areas for process improvement and drive hiring efficiencies.
- Participate in recruiting events, such as tech talks, meetups, and interview days, to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
- Maintain and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring compliance with recruiting best practices.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in software or technical domains.
- Demonstrated ability to source and attract top software engineering talent.
- Strong understanding of software development and technical roles, with the ability to assess technical skills effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and using recruiting metrics to drive decision-making.
- Passion for delivering a great candidate experience and contributing to a positive team culture.
Pay DisclosureSalary Range/Hourly Rate for British Columbia Applicants: 50 – 65 CAD per hour (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26.
