- Total Target Cash Pay Range: $156,100 – $281,500, inclusive of target incentives

- The Sr Manager, Government Sales is responsible for managing and directing the government sales strategy in collaboration with front-line Government sellers.
- This role involves leading and managing a team of 8+ sellers, motivating, and coaching them to achieve strong performance results.
Ideal Candidate
- Ideal candidate will have a tenured sales leadership background with prior experience leading government (SLED) sales teams in NYC. Sales Leaders get all in offers working on a 70/30 split in an uncapped qrtly commissions environment.
- Candidate should have good longevity with enterprise or above b2b sales experience.
- Prior wireless or gov sales is a huge plus
- Another key call out is this a hunting role, not farming.
- Training: 4 weeks of virtual training from local sales offices. w/ 1 week of travel to Frisco, TX
- Travel Requirement for Role: Daily travel in supported markets
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement sales generation strategies to support new Government business.
- Identify retention opportunities to maintain and grow the existing customer base.
- Lead and manage a team of 8+ sellers.
- Motivate, coach, and guide the team to achieve strong performance results.
- Provide strategic leadership and support to ensure team success.
- Support additional non-selling and administrative functions as needed.
- Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by business management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
Work Experience:
- 2-4 years of team management experience.
- 2-4 years of sales management experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expertise in government procurement (Required).
- Strong strategic leadership skills (Required).
- Proficiency in customer acquisition (Required).
