  • Base Pay Range: $109,270 – $197,050
  • Total Target Cash Pay Range: $156,100 – $281,500, inclusive of target incentives

  • The Sr Manager, Government Sales is responsible for managing and directing the government sales strategy in collaboration with front-line Government sellers.
  • This role involves leading and managing a team of 8+ sellers, motivating, and coaching them to achieve strong performance results.

Ideal Candidate

  • Ideal candidate will have a tenured sales leadership background with prior experience leading government (SLED) sales teams in NYC. Sales Leaders get all in offers working on a 70/30 split in an uncapped qrtly commissions environment.
  • Candidate should have good longevity with enterprise or above b2b sales experience.
  • Prior wireless or gov sales is a huge plus
  • Another key call out is this a hunting role, not farming.
  • Training: 4 weeks of virtual training from local sales offices. w/ 1 week of travel to Frisco, TX
  • Travel Requirement for Role: Daily travel in supported markets

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement sales generation strategies to support new Government business.
  • Identify retention opportunities to maintain and grow the existing customer base.
  • Lead and manage a team of 8+ sellers.
  • Motivate, coach, and guide the team to achieve strong performance results.
  • Provide strategic leadership and support to ensure team success.
  • Support additional non-selling and administrative functions as needed.
  • Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by business management.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years of team management experience.
  • 2-4 years of sales management experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expertise in government procurement (Required).
  • Strong strategic leadership skills (Required).
  • Proficiency in customer acquisition (Required).
