We offer you the opportunity to help create a new future for those people living with respiratory diseases.The Opportunity:Verona Pharma is currently recruiting a Senior Manager, Specialty Pharmacy to join our team, reporting to our Senior Director, Market Access & Trade. In the role of Senior Manager, Specialty Pharmacy, you will be responsible for the day-to-day communication with multiple specialty pharmacy partners around patient case specifics, insurance barriers, patient adherence, and process flow.To be successful in this role, you will successfully collaborate internally and externally to execute the specialty pharmacy network strategy within the Market Access & Trade Department.   • Understand product and payer reimbursement landscape and prior authorization guidelines and processes.
  • Partner with the Associate Director, Patient Services Operations around process flow efficiencies and needs.
  • Manage the trends and data with the specialty pharmacies.
  • Partner with Sales Operations for data integration, barriers, and output to determine key performance metrics and communication points with specialty pharmacy partners.
  • Manage the relationship between Verona Pharma and the external specialty pharmacy partners.
  • Maintain an integrated business plan, exploring opportunities with pharmacy partners and the HUB around patient and prescriber access of Ohtuvayre.
  • Manage the QBR process with the specialty pharmacies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Participate actively in cross-functional efforts to address operational barriers and implement solutions.
  • Monitor and measure internal performance data and market trends to optimize program effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to address key business challenges and leverage best practices in patient and provider services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations, maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with 2+ years of specialty pharmacy experience.
  • Experience with the commercialization of products processed through medical benefits. Durable Medical experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with FDA and/or OIG regulations.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including building strong working relationships and managing conflict both within and outside of Verona.
  • Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to change in a high-energy and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of specialty distribution processes and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and influencing skills.

The base salary range for this role is $160,000 – $190,000 per year. The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position and may differ by hiring location.
