We provide leadership and guidance in the development and implementation of compensation strategies and programs that drive Sephora’s business objectives forward. Teamwork has been pivotal to our ability to make meaningful impact at Sephora and we are looking for a like-minded professional to join the team.Your role at Sephora:As a Senior Compensation Business Partner, you will be responsible for developing and providing solutions to a group of business units to attract and retain the best talent at Sephora. You will consult to provide competitive compensation solutions that are fiscally responsible and legally defensible. You will collaborate with team members to lead or support enterprise compensation projects and annual compensation cycles. Additionally, you will play a key role in partnering with our People Team to strengthen our organization’s fundamental understanding of compensation.This position requires high-level business acumen, executive presence, strong analytical skills in addition to the ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information.Responsibilities:
- Consulting: Collaborate closely with People Team to develop effective solutions for compensation challenges and translate compensation philosophies into actionable strategies for business units. Build relationships that result in trusted partnerships.
- Analysis & Data Modeling: Perform job evaluations, benchmarking, and comprehensive market analysis to ensure our compensation programs remain competitive and equitable. Effectively distill and present complex analysis in a clear, concise, and insightful manner to partners and stakeholders, to enable informed decision-making.
- Education & Communication: Create and distribute clear and impactful communication materials that enhance understanding and highlight the value of our compensation programs. Take an active role in educating internal people partners, business units and employees to enable objective decision-making and facilitate meaningful compensation conversations.
- Project Management: Lead compensation projects of significant impact for business units
We would love to hear from you if you meet the following:
- 6+ Years’ Compensation Analyst, People Data Analyst or Business Partnership Experience
- 3-5 Years’ Experience modeling and presenting data
- 3-5 Years’ Experience consulting with business partners to provide compensation solutions
- 2+ Years’ Experience developing effective trainings, presentations and communication plans for compensation programs or other people programs
- Exceptional teamworking skills
- Strong business acumen: Understands business strategy and its impact on Total Rewards
- Ability to understand industry and market trends
- Data visualization experience is a plus
- Ability to work at SF HQ office 2-3 days a week
- Possible travel once a year within the US #LI-AZ1
The annual base salary range for this position is $148,000.00 – $165,000.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
