- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for clients across diverse industries.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.
- Support the audit process, including working with external auditors.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to assist clients with their decision-making processes.
- Stay informed on relevant accounting regulations and tax laws, ensuring client compliance.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including Canadian tax laws and audits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
