Job description: Description :SUMMARY:The Saw Blade Specialist is a key role within the Sales & Marketing Department by being a subject matter expert on application, features, and functionality of DoALL saw blade products. This role is primarily responsible for selling, evaluating, and supporting blade offerings to both internal and external customer base, reporting to the VP of Sales.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a point of contact to qualify resolve saw blade related or saw blade-impacted problems in manufacturing; seeks out new opportunities to provide a positive impact on manufacturing performance within customers.
  • Works in partnership with the sales team to drive saw-blade performance within customer accounts, along with direct account responsibility.
  • Interact with multiple stakeholders including sales, customer service and the customer.
  • Drives sales, profit margin and the customer success.
  • Brings in internal partners and leverages their expertise
  • Coordinate our vendors resources as required to resolve safety, quality, through put or cost issues related to saw blade.
  • Generate and implement productivity and cost savings ideas to reduce saw blade cost per piece and / or reduce overall manufacturing cost and production time.
  • Work with our Vendor Service Rep to ensure abnormal saw blade use issues and availability does not interrupt production.
  • Attend regularly scheduled operations and team problem solving meetings as needed.
  • Support manufacturing in the resolution of saw blade related issues.
  • Recommend optimized machining processes and cutting parameters.
  • Introduce new technology and improved saw blade designs.
  • Provide year-over-year Cost per Piece reduction plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Reports to the VP of Sales.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Base compensation range is $70,000 to $80,000 plus bonus
  • 5+ years of cutting tool sales & application experience.
  • Experience working in a machine shop environment; engineering degree preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License required with good driving record.
  • Ability to travel with overnight stays may be required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers; building rapport and providing quick responses to inquiries.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to partner at all levels within an organization (including executive) both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work with great independence and autonomy.
