Job description: PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Be a hands-on leader of the RM technician workforce, mentoring others towards reliability excellence on the job.
- Oversees and directs support for the Reliability Maintenance Escalation Plan.
- Ensures the Safety of all associates maintaining and/or in the proximity of equipment.
- Ensures all direct reports are well-trained and equipped prior to performing RM tasks.
- Enforces adherence to all required current and future Safety protocols (i.e. LOTO, confined space, safety harness, arc-flash, etc).
- Supports RM Manager in driving RM 6S compliance and the relentless pursuit of 6S excellence.
- Oversees scheduled, preventive, and predictive maintenance programs, including assessment of work performed by reports.
- Manages maintenance request system through the fair distribution of workload based on the available capacity and skills of direct reports.
- As required, directly manages contracted service technicians needed to temporarily boost RM capacity.
- Directly supports the MRO Buyer/Inventory specialist to ensure correct replacement part ordering, best cost decisions, and technician compliance to inventory system control.
- Supports RM Manager in driving the documentation of maintenance procedures.
- Responsible for training, review, and disciplinary activities with all maintenance staff.
- Actively supports the Continuous Improvement of RM standards.
OTHER: (e.g. authorizations, authority to issue directives, information rights):
- Advocates the use of the A-Player card recognition system and is a champion for their team
- Is able to present fundamental company financial data in Vital Signs meetings with linkage to RM department performance and key initiatives.
- Actively supports the RM Manager in roadmap planning that facilitates the relentless pursuit of TPM excellence.
- Partners with Production, Process, and Facilities peers to create the best team solutions to problems.
- Benchmarking of other Aalberts RM departments and willingly shares best-practices for corporate success.
- 5 years maintenance experience minimum for an exceptional candidateReference Workplace Requirement

- Computer skills – Microsoft 365, ZincIt (or future) ERP, current PLC programming (i.e. Allen-Bradley)
- Mechatronics oriented: electrical, troubleshooting, schematics and blueprints, pipe/vale technology, hydraulics and pneumatics, robotics, sensors.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:Education:
- High School minimum for an exceptional candidate
- Ideally an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics
Experience:
- Mechatronics oriented: electrical, troubleshooting, schematics and blueprints, pipe/vale technology, hydraulics and pneumatics, robotics, sensors.
- Ideally 10 years with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
Knowledge and skills:
- Computer skills – Microsoft 365, ZincIt (or future) ERP, current PLC programming (i.e. Allen-Bradley)
- Leadership of people, especially highly independent technician.
Expected salary: $32 – 42 per hour
