You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, analyze financial data, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.   • Manage and oversee reinsurance accounting processes, including premium and claim accounting, settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to reinsurance activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
  • Monitor and analyze reinsurance contracts to ensure accurate accounting treatment.
  • Provide support for audits and regulatory examinations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in an accounting or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of reinsurance principles and practices.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Expected salary: $135000 – 175000 per year
