Bruhn Bridge, located in Sicamous, BC. This project will include a new four lane bridge featuring a 3-meter wide pedestrian and cyclist path, 1.9 kms of highway, intersection improvements and the removal of the old bridge. This will be an opportunity to work in the beautiful Shuswap region of South Central, BC and be part of collaborative team to deliver an important infrastructure project for the community of Sicamous and the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Administrator plays an essential role in supporting project execution. This is a Monday to Friday site-based position located in Sicamous, BC.What You’ll Do Here:

  • Enter requisition purchase orders and ensure receiving is processed in a timely manner.
  • Processing of AP invoices including obtaining correct signatures and uploading to the system.
  • Deal with supplier demands via email or telephone.
  • Uploading documentation into document control system.
  • Perform and maintain organized documentation and filing electronically.
  • Match packing slips received from the field with purchase orders issued and invoices received.
  • Responding to Project Managers regarding inquiries such as payment status, etc.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Position will be working on a construction site, previous experience in the construction industry required.
  • Must possess 2+ years of office related experience with knowledge of purchasing, accounts payable, document control, and payroll.
  • Intermediate level of computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Experience using SAP highly preferred.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to deal tactfully with vendors, employees, visitors and customers.
  • Must be a team player, be able to work independently and prioritize workload.
  • Must have strong work ethic.
  • Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines.
  • Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.
