We offer an attractive benefits package including a competitive base salary.Position OverviewWhirlWind Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Principal Network Architect who shall provide network architecture and design services while ensuring secure, reliable, and low latency networking.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDuties include but are not limited to:
- Provides high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff.
- Develops architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines in accordance with the strategy and goals of the organization.
- Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.
- Advises on selection of technological purchases regarding processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
- Sets standards for the client/server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.).
- Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management. Tracks current plans.
- Monitors and reviews the success of systems and ensures efficiency and effectiveness.
Education
- Minimum BS/BA degree in related field (or equivalent certification, or years of experience)
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Preferred
- Must have at least one certification from the list below:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience
- Cloud Architecture and Design
- Identity Management Architecture and Design
- DNS and LDAP Architecture and Design
- Active Directory Architecture and Design
Expected salary: $160000 – 175000 per year
