Job title: Plant Manager – Pharmaceuticals

Job description: Utilizing your background in pharmaceutical manufacturing this organization is looking for a Plant Manager to join the team and immediately lead the facility beneath the VP of Operations. This role will take over 100+ indirect reports, lead people managers, and will be tasked with handling recent expansions and growth due to success with some of their largest clients.
- Manage 6 direct reports, and over 100+ indirect reports
- Handle P&L responsibilities, be an active part of the leadership strategy team
- Utilize background in pharmaceutical and chemical manucaturing to troubleshoot production issues on the floor
- Design Fixtures and Jigs in Solid-Works
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, seeking ways to be more efficient and optimize cost savings opportunities
- Hand’s On Role – lead by example
- Identify production problems and present creative solutions to Senior Leadership
- Troubleshoot machinery programming – do not need to be an expert.
- Communicate with customers and regularly perform DFMA

- 7Y+ Experience in a pharmaceutical environment
- 5+ Years of Leadership Experience (Experience of over 100+ indirect reports highly preferred)
- Extensive experience with SolidWorks
- Associates Degree or Higher Required
- “Hands On” Mentality, not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Experience with DFMA
My client is a pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Fox River Valley partnered with name brand drug companies to manufacture their solutions at a greater capacity. This role will be taking on all plant management responsibilities outside of the engineering team
- Competitive Base Salary up to $145,000
