Are you looking for a location that requires no travel?We may just be hiring for the exact job you’re looking for.Doing non-standard pipe-fitting. Much of the lateral and drop-out flanges have to fit around a jacket. Their pipefitting work is around a jacket and standard fitting methods don’t always work.
Custom threadingPersonality: adaptable, punctual, good with taking feedback and speaking with other fitters on how to best do the job.
Needs to learn quickly and be able to produce.You will be Performing hydro prep and testing duties up to 36” piping. Fabricating/fitting of various spools up to 36” piping, fitting, tacking, and welding of structural skid components, and extensive rigging and lifting of various intricate level spools.Advantages
Competitive hourly wage ($35 – $41/hour).
4x 10-hour shifts, allowing for a long weekend every week. Mon – Thurs, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

RRSP contributions of 3% after 1 year of employment.Responsibilities
Read and interpret P&ID (piping and instrumentation drawings) and GA’s (general assembly) drawings to assemble process piping systems.
Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems according to specifications.
Thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping systems. Perform hydrostatic or pneumatic testing to ensure system integrity.
Custom threading and occasional assistance in building skids.
Demonstrate adaptability, punctuality, and willingness to communicate effectively with fellow fitters to optimize job performance.
Receive and implement feedback constructively, striving for continuous improvement. Work diligently and efficiently to meet project deadlines.
QualificationsQualifications
Journeyman Pipefitter ticket is preferred but not mandatory. Experienced in working with non-standard pipefitting Journeyman Pipefitter ticket is preferred but not mandatory. Experienced in working with non-standard pipefitting.
Proven experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial setting, and the ability to work on non-standard pipefitting (including custom straight spool, lateral, drop-outs, etc)
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of adaptability and punctuality. Hardworking attitude with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.Own tooling required.Summary
