You will provide life-changing support to clients who look to us as advocates for their hopes and dreams.Utilizing best-in-class resources and technology, you will roll up your sleeves and work in collaboration with a senior advisor to tackle complex financial, estate, and tax planning situations and deliver an experience to clients that is second to none.Interested in more details? As a Paraplanner, you can expect to:
- Provide ongoing support to owner of the firm
- Prepare for client meetings, take notes, complete follow up, and correspond with clients
- Participate and listen carefully in client and planning meetings and translate the discussions into a strategy for data collection
- Complete full financial plans in eMoney performing complex analysis of planning strategies, risks, and opportunities in the areas of retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, cash flow planning, asset allocation, risk management, etc.
- Facilitate the implementation of client recommendations while maintaining appropriate compliance requirements
- Work autonomously within an area of responsibility, as well as collaboratively to contribute to the overall client experience
- Escalate account or investment problems and bring to the attention of the senior advisor as needed
- Maintain comprehensive communication records using a contact management system including email, MS Products and other financial software tools
- Stay current on trends in the financial planning area
- Demonstrate job stability and career progression
Qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Series 7, 63 and life and variable insurance licenses required
- CPA designation a plus
- 3-5 years as a Paraplanner; 3-5 years in the wealth planning industry
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Heavy client facing experience
- Strong computer skills are required: Microsoft Office and ability to learn financial planning software
- Emoney, Holistiplan and Wealthbox knowledge a plus
- Demonstrated job stability and career progression
