Closing Date: 09/04/2024Job SummaryResponsible for managing staffing and work plans and providing development and operational support services for Workflow Services primarily supporting Infor and ServiceNow and integration to other enterprise-wide solutions as part of the Digital Workflows, BI and Visualization Technologies of IT. Responsible for managing a team of Application Developers and IT Technical Specialist resources to develop solutions to support but not limited to licensing, permits, service requests, workorders, time and material tracking and inventory control. Responsible for Infor and ServiceNow platform configurations, software upgrades, and software development. Responsible for client relationship management, vendor management and the Infor and ServiceNow community of practices.Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the IT Manager, Digital Workflows, BI and Visualization Technologies, the successful candidate will:
- Develop and provide input to program roadmaps and annual work plans that align to the Infor and ServiceNow Roadmap and Divisional Technology Roadmaps and Service Area Roadmaps
- Oversee the planning, blueprinting, development and implementation licensing, permit, 311 service requests, and work order workflows in either ServiceNow or Infor and integration of workflows with SAP, ESRI and other city systems as applicable
- Manage all aspects of project lifecycle by applying project management methodologies (agile, hybrid, waterfall), PMI knowledge domains (Stakeholder Management, Risk Management, Scope Management, Procurement Management, etc.) and adhering to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), City standards and best practices for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing projects.
- Managing Work Request, Service Requests and Project priorities and assigning resources
- Oversee quality control of configuration changes to Infor and ServiceNow, ensuring Persons Most Responsible (PMR’s) have tested the solution and managing the release cycles to production
- Act as an IT advisor to business clients on digital workflows and ensure compliance to IT polices and processes
- Provide technical & process knowledge for business cases, other projects and initiatives for business process improvements and simplification
- Receive and prioritize work requests; develop and prioritize annual work plan with stakeholders and assign resources
- Monitor service desk status including communicating and assigning resources, monitor Service Level Agreement (SLA)/response time), identify recurring issues and coordinate root cause analysis and support changes or training opportunities
- Recruit, motivate, coach, mentor and manage staff
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years project management and platform operation experience for Infor/Hansen and/or ServiceNow
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in workflow design, data modeling and development of licensing, permit, 311 service request and work orders workflows
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading, managing and mentoring a team of Application Developers and IT Technical Specialists
- Demonstrated leadership experience with outstanding project management, analytical, implementation, organizational, communication (oral & written), and customer service skills
- Knowledge and experience in development of roadmaps for Infor and/or ServiceNow
- Project Management Institute (PMI) professional certification or municipal experience
- Commitment to service excellence and total quality

Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 111,337.00 – $ 148,451.00
