You’re an excellent collaborator and planner who can effectively integrate internal stakeholder needs into your communications strategies and project manage the finest details of your strategy, including budgeting, to ensure its success. We need someone with your skill set and experience in our Marketing Specialist, Portfolio & Marketing Strategy role.In this position, you’ll be responsible for planning, managing and supporting the implementation of the Conservation and Energy Management (C&EM) communications budget. This includes leading research initiatives and working closely with program teams on their marketing communications needs.In this role, you will:
- Work with C&EM program teams to identify and prioritize communications requirements.
- Identify efficiencies and implement streamlined processes to optimize projects shared between Communications and C&EM groups.
- Effectively manage quarterly resourcing with External Communications, resulting in the successful execution of C&EM communications objectives and priorities.
- Support the day-to-day tracking and forecasting of the Conservation and Energy Management communications budget.
What it takes:
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline from a recognized program, plus a minimum of three years of recent, related experience working in product/program development, marketing and sales.
- Exceptional communications skills with extensive knowledge of developing impactful communication strategies.
- Excellent strategic thinking for understanding departmental stakeholder goals and connecting messaging with overall business objectives.
- Demonstrated project management skills for developing communications strategies, identifying tactics and channels, planning budgets, and coordinating deliverables amongst internal stakeholders.
- Effective interpersonal skills and a solutions-oriented mindset for collaborating with internal partners and coordinating marketing programs that address the needs of the business.
- Great analytical skills to identify and implement process improvements to enhance future communications programs and improve collaboration between teams.
