This role will involve leading a team to ensure efficient and reliable telephony systems, network connectivity, and mobile solutions to support business operations. The Manager, Telecommunications will collaborate with various departments to assess telecommunications needs, develop strategies, and implement solutions to optimize communication technologies.Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $112,000 – $131,000, with a 35-hour work week. Why we’ll love You:
- You have over 10 years of experience in telecommunications, with 5 years in a management or leadership role
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, telecommunications, or a related field
- You have proven experience with unified communications platforms, telephony systems, including VoIP, PBX, and call center solutions
- You are experienced with managing telecommunications contracts, procurement, billing, and budget management
- You have working knowledge of modern equipment usage and management concepts, like Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), Choose Your Own Device (CYOD), and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM)
- You possess solid knowledge of telecommunications and network technologies, protocols, and architectures
- You are strong analytically, a problem-solver, and have solid decision-making abilities
- You are familiar with Genesys, MS Teams, Ring Central and similar solutions. Relevant certifications in Azure, M365 and network like (CCNA, CISSP) are a plus
Once here, you’ll:
- Lead and manage a team responsible for telephony systems, network connectivity, and mobility solutions
- Develop and implement plans to enhance telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security
- Oversee telephony systems’ installation, configuration, and maintenance, including PBX, VoIP, and unified communications platforms
- Manage telecommunications contracts, vendors, and service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of service
- Establish and manage the telecommunications annual operating plan, ensuring the optimal financial and human resources allocation to support business needs.
- Monitor and control costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess telecommunications needs and requirements and provide recommendations for technology solutions
- Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures related to telecommunications and mobility management
- Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting telecommunications issues and incidents
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and telecommunications and mobility management modern frameworks
