Job description: Job Description:We are currently seeking a Manager, Pricing to join our team temporarily for a term of 18 months.Reporting to the VP, Product & Pricing, this role will leverage the tools and analytical output from other departments, collaborating with Enterprise Insights, and S-K&P to create financial models aimed at providing product and pricing recommendations for our members. Leveraging their expertise in data analysis, this role acts as a pricing advisor to the branches/regional leadership.Here’s what would be included as a part of your typical day * Leadership: Provides leadership and direction to team, including coaching, training and development, establishing annual goals and completing performance management processes; oversees the completion and accuracy of time-sensitive tasks.

  • Data Analysis: Responsible for the analytical function in the pricing team. Plays a strategic role in establishing and implementing over all pricing strategy in alignment with FW Strategic objectives.
  • Product Modeling & Pricing: Owns, develops and utilizes various pricing tools and calculators to leverage financial models to create scenarios to support deposit and loan balance growth as well as income. Prepares detailed pricing recommendations to the pricing committee based on sound rationale derived from analytics, external and internal environment for approval. Responsible for maintaining interest rates in the system.
  • Internal & External Stakeholder Relations: Acts as the subject matter expert in pricing and engage internal/external stakeholders in creating products and pricing solutions for our members. Coaches all stakeholders in pricing related areas. Acts as a pricing advisor to the branches/regional leadership.

Risk & Governance: Assists the Director in pricing governance process including coordinating pricing subcommittee meetings, complying with pricing related regulations etc. * Reporting & Analysis: Identifies, prepares and reports dynamic pricing related KPIs.Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Quantitative, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Accounting required; Master’s degree preferred
  • CFA, CPA, FRM or equivalent designation required or pursuing
  • 5 years in progressive finance, risk or treasury roles
  • Preferred experience in treasury analytics, applying business logic and statistical techniques to data and pricing of retail or commercial banking products in a financial institution
  • Growth Mindset: This is a progressive role in a rapidly transforming area
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to engage in cross functional teams
  • Communication: Proven ability to influence leadership teams. Demonstrated experience in writing business cases, delivering presentations and influencing stakeholders
  • Banking product knowledge preferred
  • SQL expertise required
  • Proficiency in R programming language is considered an asset
  • Displays an understanding of risk and risk ownership by being able to demonstrate adherence to policies and procedures.

Pay TransparencySalary Range: $87,280 – $111,800Please note, the salary range mentioned in this job posting should serve as a guide. The final compensation offered may vary based on a variety of factors including bonuses and/or incentives, or a candidate’s skills and experience.
