Job description: Athena Constant, a Private Wealth Advisor with Ameriprise Financial is seeking a dedicated and detail oriented fully licensed Paraplanner to support her team and contribute to clients’ financial success. This role is key to ensuring a positive client experience, managing client relationships, and supporting the planning and financial management needs of the practice.Key Responsibilities:

  • Placing Trades: Execute trades accurately and efficiently on behalf of our clients.
  • Rebalancing: Monitor and rebalance client portfolios to maintain alignment with investment strategies.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend client meetings, take comprehensive notes, and ensure follow-up actions are documented and addressed.
  • Meeting Preparation: Assist in preparing materials and agendas for client meetings to ensure productive and informed discussions.
  • Opportunity Identification: Develop and implement a system to identify new opportunities and enhance client portfolios.
  • Client Interaction: Gradually take on direct client interactions and meetings, providing high-quality service and support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Series 7, Series 66 and Life & Health required.
  • Relevant experience in financial planning, investment management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $70,000-$80,000 per year commensurate with experience.
  • Competitive benefits package: SRA with a match, health care credit of $500 per month, PTO and sick pay.
