About the team:The People Development team provides Sound Physicians colleagues with innovative, forward-thinking, and practical people solutions in recruiting, onboarding, learning and leadership development, coaching, performance, and talent planning (Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, and Emerging Leader programs).About the Role:We are looking for a Learning Experience Designer to collaborate with the People Development team to help support our learning and leadership initiatives. The position will report to the VP, People Development, while partnering with business and clinical colleagues.The Details: This role will involve travel up to 20% of the time and is remoteIn this role you are responsible for:Learning Design and Development
- Create innovative, functional learning solutions with streamlined processes to solve challenges and meet the needs of the customer (ILT, vILT, eLearning blended solutions)
- Ability to exercise latitude to determine best learning solution approach
- Develop content focused on healthcare regulatory requirements and general compliance – internal/external facing
- Develop an enhanced learner User Experience (UX) with associated metrics to create excitement and increase user adoption
- Utilize Learning/Talent Management System (LMS) to design/develop engagement survey and performance documents including deployment and reporting (Cornerstone OnDemand)
- Assist with virtual production support (Teams, Adobe Connect, Zoom)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment while delivering high-quality work on time
- Serve as peer mentor and/or coach to learning colleagues and members of the Sound network, providing one-on-one training, as well as in-person/virtual Sound professional development training sessions
Talent Systems (Technical)
- Partner with the People Operations and Talent Management teams to manage and administer the learning/talent management system (learning, performance, talent & succession, and engage) including the ongoing design, configuration, testing, deployment, and end-user training for the Sound network.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support to Sound stakeholders as related to learning content
- Manage learning catalog management to ensure current, compliant, and relevant learning content is available within LMS (Cornerstone)
- Partner with People Operations team to manage the LMS role-based access, communication, and training to colleagues with access to ensure they are fully equipped to support their teams.
- Proficiency in Articulate 360, Vyond video software, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Adobe Premier Pro
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite of products including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams SharePoint, Stream
Reporting and Analytics
- Drive data, analytics, and reporting needs proactively for business stakeholders to drive decision making and/or provide valid, actionable insights based on learning effectiveness measures
- Establish and maintain a robust reporting framework to gather key analytics to create data visualizations

Knowledge:
- Adult Learning Theory (e.g., readiness to learn, orientation to learning, learning experience)
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Training, Organizational Development, or related field of study and/or 4 years of experience in related field accepted
- Design Thinking / User-Centric approach to solution design and implementation
- Knowledge of Audience and Training Needs Assessment best practices and processes
- People, Process, Programs, and System Integrations: understand all the data, dependencies and integration across the learning people experience
- Analytical skills in validating data as well as quickly performing ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with change management principles and approaches
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis to determine the problem we are solving for and to design learning solution(s) with outcome in mind
Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in instructional design in developing learning content based on best adult learning theories and delivery modalities (e.g., blending learning, micro and social learning)
- Experience developing training modules requiring technical writing/regulatory content.
- Experience working with Talent/Learning Management Systems specifically performance, talent & succession, learning, and engagement functionality
- Experience working in the Healthcare industry (preferred)
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate, influence and build trusted partnership with People Development and People Operations teams
- Ability to work in an agile and iterative way in a fast paced and collaborative environment
