This position has multiple location opportunities, providing an excellent opportunity for a talented attorney to have a great work/life balance.Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload with variable options for areas of focus.
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on insurance coverage issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop effective case strategies.
- Participate in mediations, negotiations, and court proceedings as required.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the British Columbia Bar.
- Minimum of five years of experience specifically in litigation.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload independently while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preference for those with a book of business.
