Job description: Associate Attorney – Commercial LitigationPosition Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with 3-10 years of experience in commercial litigation.Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for hearings and trials.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and tactics.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Admission to the Law Society of British Columbia
- 3-10 years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Strong academic credentials, including excellent law school transcripts.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
- Experience with big law firms preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary commensurate with experience.
- Discretionary bonus based on performance.
