Location: Saint-Laurent
Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 based on experienceOur client, a leading distributor with a strong industry presence, is seeking a skilled and proactive Inventory Purchasing Coordinator to enhance their dynamic team.If you have a passion for inventory management and purchasing, along with the ability to analyze trends and forecast needs effectively, please apply!Job Description:– Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to ensure adequate stock.
– Sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating terms and pricing, and place purchase orders.
– Tracking and managing international order status, including shipping and receiving processes, customs and duty.
– Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
– Tracking inventory levels, sales data, and order history.
– Coordinating with finance to manage budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices.
– Ensuring all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.Qualifications:– Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
– Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inventory management or purchasing.
– Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
– Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
