Job description: Your JobOur Georgia-Pacific facility located in Englehart, ON is seeking motivated and safety-oriented individuals to join our maintenance team as an Instrumentation Technician.This position starts at $42.98 per hour.   • Assume responsibility and accountability for performing technical work in the repair, adjustment, calibration and maintenance of a variety of analytical and recording instruments and equipment used in the detection and measurement of the OSB process
  • Assists in diagnosing malfunctions in mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
  • Interpret/read PID loops circuit diagrams
  • Perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with other team members in a team-based environment

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 447A Instrumentation Red Seal Certification OR OACETT C.Tech Certification

What Will Put You Ahead

  • PLC Programming and troubleshooting experience; Allen Bradley. Control Logic
  • Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating instrumentation equipment
