Job description: HVAC Install LeadSIGN ON BONUS UP TO $15,000 Depending on ExperienceMidwest Heating & Cooling is a quickly growing company in SE Wisconsin that services, maintains, and installs HVAC equipment for both commercial and residential clients. Our company was founded by two partners who have been in the HVAC industry for over 15 years.We are now accepting applications for a full-time HVAC Install Lead to install residential heating and air conditioning systems in accordance with the company’s approved operating practices and with the highest level of customer care. This position will also assist with the training and development of lower-level install technicians. Lastly, you will assist the service department as needed with routine maintenance and demand service calls.Compensation: up to $40 per hour, DOE.Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime (nights and weekends) is required during high demand. Rotating on-call responsibilitiesWhat We Offer:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively & professionally assist with the training and development of lower-level technicians.
  • Set the standard/example of always maintaining a professional appearance and attitude; Ensure lower-level technicians are doing the same.
  • Perform full-capacity residential installations with confidence, professionalism, and accuracy.
  • Perform light commercial replacement installations with confidence, professionalism, and accuracy.
  • Follow directions from the supervisor and/or dispatcher and complete them in a timely manner.
  • Report to job site locations on time as scheduled.
  • Communicate to the dispatcher when arriving and leaving the job site.
  • Report parts and materials needed to the dispatcher to coordinate and expedite parts delivery.
  • Perform all duties and interact with clients per the company’s standard operating practices.
  • Complete all required paperwork, forms, and invoices.
  • Always adhere to the COD policy.
  • Debrief with the dispatcher upon completion of each job.
  • Directly maneuver from one job site to another as dispatched throughout the day.
  • Acquire new residential maintenance agreements.
  • Inform and educate customers of additional products, services, and replacement options in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Successfully and knowledgeably use tools and testing devices
  • Advance knowledge and working application of:
  • Soldering skills
  • Sheet metal skills
  • Electrical wiring skills
  • Use of company vehicle, tools, equipment, parts, and materials is strictly for company jobs only
  • Promptly reports any problems with company vehicle or tools
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Must pass drug and background check
  • Low voltage license
  • EPA Certified
  • Commitment to acquiring NATE certification within 2 years
  • Comprehensive understanding of residential heating & cooling systems parts, components & functions.
  • Willingness to further invest in tools used in the HVAC trade
  • Able to work from a 28′ extension ladder and a 12′ step ladder
  • Ability and willingness to follow written and verbal communication
  • Ability to retain and use knowledge & skills in the field.
  • Commitment to developing and using customer service skills
  • Commitment to following all company policies and procedures
