People like you!We are actively seeking experienced contract Fine Arts Instructors – Preschool Music for our 2024 – 2025 season. This position is responsible for delivering dynamic, engaging, and developmentally appropriate music classes to infants, preschool children, and their caregivers. This position is based out of Edmonds Community Centre but will have the ability to work at other sites and hours as well. Duties include creating lesson plans, leading classes, and connecting with families through music. Candidates must be comfortable vocalizing and engaging with children and parents in large classes. The City will provide instruments but Contract Instructors must have their own teaching aids. If you enjoy sharing music with early learners, this position is for you!We are looking for candidates with a background in music, any instrument, as well as a strong teaching background and experience teaching working with early learners. Successful candidates must have CPR C or be willing to obtain certification prior to the start of the program.Pay Rate: $39.00 – 43.00/hourHours of Work: Typical shifts are between the hours of 9:25 AM – 11:45AM on Thursdays, although opportunities may be available at other sites as well.
