Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Regulatory and Standards leads and directs the OSF ministry-wide effort to demonstrate compliance with The Joint Commission standards, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and other state and federal regulatory requirements. Directs Mission partners across the ministry that perform both proactive and reactive tracing and clinical audit activity in an effort to assess compliance with regulatory standards and OSF policies and procedures as well as reinforce principles of high reliability. Leads the development of tools and processes to be used ministry wide to develop, implement, and monitor the facility’s continuous readiness and clinical excellence programs.
QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Field (Nursing, Lab, Radiology)
Licensure/Certifications:
- Current license in area of expertise.
Experience:
- 5 years of practice in healthcare area of expertise
- 5 years experience and knowledge in the standards of The Joint Commission, State guidelines and the CMS Conditions of Participation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education:
- Master’s Degree Certification in patient safety or healthcare quality
Experience:
- Demonstrated Leadership competency as evidence by past experience in a complex multihospital system or regulatory agency
