We empower children and adults to live their most fulfilling and independent lives, and we live by our Person First, Person-Centered value system to create meaningful days for our clients and ourselves.About the Role: We are currently hiring to work 100% in the community in beautiful, sunny San Diego. As a CIP, you will support a small group (usually a 1:3 ratio) using person-centered approaches, advocacy, and empowerment strategies to foster full engagement in the community of their choice.to join our team. A Typical Day Includes:

  • Providing direct, culturally appropriate support to individuals using person-centered approaches.
  • Motivating and supporting individuals to reach their goals and objectives.
  • Facilitating meaningful activities based on individual interests, preferences, and choices.
  • Identifying and facilitating job, training, volunteer, or other community activities for program participants.
  • Completing electronic documentation before the end of each shift.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Immediate access to a vehicle with working seatbelts for transporting participants.
  • Comfort driving a full-size van with multiple passengers.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs.
  • High comfort level using multiple computer/mobile device programs.

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have 6+ months of hands-on experience with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
  • Are multilingual (English, Spanish, Tagalog).
  • Have experience with electronic case management systems (e.g., Therap).
  • Have experience with individual service plans (goal development).
