We pride ourselves on our strong community engagement and the development of our team members.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Title Paralegal with strong commercial real estate title experience to join our esteemed team. In this pivotal role, you will perform substantive legal work supporting our Real Estate Practice Group and assist with various real estate needs across the firm. Your expertise in title work will be essential as you conduct full title searches, prepare title reports, issue commitments, and draft relevant conveyancing and closing documents.Qualifications:

  • Conduct full title searches and prepare title updates.
  • Issue title reports commitments, and pro forma policies.
  • Draft preliminary conveyancing documents and closing statements under attorney supervision.
  • Prepare real estate transfer tax forms.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and assist with various real estate-related tasks.
  • Maintain strict attention to detail in all aspects of title work.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and provide professional service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work efficiently using sound judgment.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • paralegal certification and a producer title license.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, with a strong emphasis on title work.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal software.
  • Commitment to continuing legal education and professional development.
