Job description: We are looking for a Civil Technologist to join our Resource Infrastructure Group in the Vancouver Office. The team you will be joining is involved in a variety of projects ranging from access planning studies, roadway/highway design, pedestrian & trail bridges, resource bridges, condition assessments, site inspections, contract administration and much more.The core requirements of this role are strong technical capabilities using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for drawing production and design, as well as working with survey, LiDAR and GIS datasets. Experience using and having a good understanding of other software such as ArcGIS (or similar), Global Mapper would be an asset. You will be working alongside engineers and other designers to provide drafting, design, figures, maps, and data analysis for a variety of projects focused transportation and civil related infrastructure.Job RequirementsWhat you will bring:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited post-secondary institution
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience in MS Word and Excel
- Experience with field work such as topographic survey, condition assessments, and construction inspection is an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and schedules.
