Our foundation is further built on innovation, agility, teamwork, and respect.The OpportunityWe’re looking for a dynamic and highly experienced Channel Sales and Partnership Account Executive to join us in further expanding VoPay’s rapidly growing footprint by acquiring new partnerships with ISV (Independent Software Vendors), VAR (Value-Added Resellers), and FI (Financial Institutions). This role is essential for driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in mid-sized and large software companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic outreach, new sales execution, and sales process management to drive VoPay’s market expansion.LocationWe are currently interviewing candidates in Vancouver area, the role will be on-site.Duties and ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Acquisition

  • Drive revenue and market share by acquiring new Partner relationships.
  • Strategically identify, target, and successfully onboard new potential ISV, VAR, and FI partners.
  • Implement daily and weekly outreach programs, including cold calling and email campaigns.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to build relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop materials and strategies that support business development efforts.

Sales Process Management

  • Lead the sales cycle from sourcing to prospecting to closure.
  • Schedule and conduct sales presentations and product demos tailored to the specific needs of potential partners.
  • Negotiate partnership terms, focusing on creating value for both parties.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new partners.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with newly onboarded partners to assess satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for deeper engagement.
  • Monitor partner performance and collaborate on initiatives to increase lead generation.

CRM and Reporting

  • Utilize Hubspot CRM for detailed tracking of all sales activities, partner interactions, and pipeline management.
  • Generate regular reports on business development activities, outcomes, and partner performance metrics.
  • Analyze market trends and partner feedback to recommend improvements to VoPay’s products and services.

Collaboration

  • Work with the Lead Generation, Marketing, and Operations teams to support and enhance outreach strategies and tactics.
  • Liaise with the Product team to ensure product offerings meet the evolving needs of partners and their clients.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on forecasting and revenue analysis.
  • Engage with the legal and compliance teams to ensure all partnerships adhere to industry regulations and VoPay’s standards.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in payments software and/or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience.
  • Subject matter expertise in payments and ISV platforms.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quarterly revenue targets.
  • Strong networking skills and a vast industry contact base.
  • Proficiency in Hubspot CRM and excellent analytical skills.
  • Outstanding business and written communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Expected salary: $90000 – 120000 per year
