Job description: Job Description:Our client, one of Canada’s most admired and trusted companies with world-class owned brands and exciting market-leading merchandising strategies, is actively seeking an Audit Portfolio Manager to augment their Internal Audit Services Team.Collaborating closely with the Associate Vice President, the Audit Portfolio Manager is expected to help conceptualize and execute risk-based audit engagements within the verticals of Retail, Real Estate, and Charities.This enticing opportunity is in Midtown Toronto (accessible via the TTC) and calls for at least two in-office days per week; a slightly higher frequency may be required during the onboarding and training phase.Requirements:RequirementsAbout You:You are a team-oriented professional with outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Boasting an exceptional eye for detail, you initiate tasks independently and ensure they are completed efficiently. Your negotiating prowess and diplomatic approach make you comfortable in interacting with and presenting to executive management. Possessing a high degree of integrity, you always maintain a positive professional demeanor.Your Key Qualifications:· University Degree in Finance or Accounting/Audit.· CPA in good standing.· CISA, CIA, CFE nice to have.· Solid knowledge of the ITCG Process (selecting the framework, mapping internal controls, performing gap analysis, creating a remediation plan, testing controls and monitoring mitigation activity).· Proficient in analyzing extensive data sets and generating comprehensive data analytics with a keen focus on enhancing risk management strategies. Capable of swiftly identifying the core of issues for more effective problem-solving.
