Job description: Our client is a respected and well established manufacturer based in the Grimsby area. This successful growing company is looking for a Plant Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years experience leading and mentoring a tenured team of employees in a medium-sized manufacturing facility. A presence on the plant floor, the Plant Manager will be health and safety focused while providing support and guidance that will rally the team to raise the bar and meet production targets.What our client has to offer:

- Accomplishes manufacturing goals by communicating job expectations and engaging in ongoing training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by ensuring that safety practices, systems, policies and procedures are followed at all times
- With support of HR, proactively manage any employee complaints, performance concerns or accidents/safety issues, including investigations and compiling relevant documentation or paper work, and corrective action
- Direct flow of work and ensure that work is performed safely and as per established operating procedures
- Work closely with the CEO and other leadership members to communicate production scheduling requirements and output goals
- Work closely with HR to monitor and manage attendance
- Strive for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility
- Provide fair and respectful leadership at all times, leading by example
Requirements:
- Ideally, at least 10 years of experience as a Plant Manager in a manufacturing environment
- Exceptional management skills with a proven track record in safety & productivity
- Experience with rotational molding ideal
