Job description: Opportunity SnapshotAs the Software Developer, Mobile, you will hold a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of Pixieset’s inaugural mobile application. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to feature development and product initiatives across both iOS and Android platforms, from the initial conception stage to production release and long-term support. Your contributions will extend beyond coding as you contribute valuable ideas from a product-focused engineering perspective and collaborate with skilled developers and dedicated cross-functional teams. By joining us, you will actively participate in crafting exceptional mobile experiences for photographers and creative professionals while driving the advancement of Pixieset’s innovative product portfolio.Your Impact

  • Develop mobile applications for iOS and Android in Ionic, Vue.js and PHP
  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements and collaborate with team members to identify and solve complex technical problems
  • Create and maintain applications that are optimized, beautiful, easy to use, and highly scalable
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews; Introduce and uphold code quality, conventions, and best practices
  • Research and integrate new technologies to drive our development process forward

Role Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in mobile application development
  • Proven track record of successfully launching 2+ mobile apps in production environments
  • Experience with Vue.js and Ionic
  • Experience with relational database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of web technologies including HTTP, RESTful services, and cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Familiar with basic data structures and algorithms
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and strong communication skills

The typical salary range for this position is CAD $92,150 – $126,000 annually.
