Job description: If you are a passionate Interior Designer looking to join a growing team, there is an incredible opportunity that awaits with a reputable Architecture and Design Firm. This firm is seeking an Interior Designer with start-to-finish project experience and a desire for continued growth and leadership development.Interior Design Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design required
- 5-12 years of experience in all phases of architectural projects with an emphasis on interior design
- Architectural license required
Interior Designer Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, PhotoShop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office preferred
- Experience in commercial, recreation, public sector, public works, sustainable, municipal/government projects preferred
- Strong technical, code, and detailing skills for quality documentation
- Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
- Proactive written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to integrate design requirements with architecture
- LEED accreditation an asset
- NCIDQ accreditation preferred
Interior Designer Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from start to finish
- Consult with clients on interior design concepts and needs
- Define project requirements and develop design criteria
- Manage project scheduling, estimates, budgeting, and planning (drawings, models, materials, etc.)
- Use software to design, sketch, and provide drawings of proposed projects
- Professional client development skills
- Leadership skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Compensation:
- $70,000-$110,000 (negotiable based on experience)
