  • Support the operation and maintenance of the network communications systems.
  • Maintain operations of multi-user networks, virtual computer systems, network performance, and network administration tasks.
  • Assist with the network design of new capabilities.
  • Perform network documentation updates and sponsor peer reviews.
  • Record problem statements and create appropriate reports.
  • Maintain an operational baseline, perform intermittent patching, troubleshoot network issues as they arise, and provide system test support.
  • Responsible for recording, prioritizing, and working network discrepancies on the system.

Basic Qualifications– DOD8570 certified
– Network Configuration Experience
– Network design Experience
– Experience documenting network settings.
– DOD Secret Clearance
– Willing to work outside of regular duty hours to support critical outages.Desired skills– Demonstrated ability to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong interpersonal skills
– Experience with Red Hat or Linux based operating systems
– Must be a quick learner capable of absorbing technical material and operations information
– Ability to work with a diverse group of engineers and technicians. Must be prompt and reliable.
– Excellent communications skills and ability to interact positively with the customer
