Job description: Job Description:Our client who holds a prominent position within the development sector is seeking a Director of Real Estate Finance. This is an opportunity to be apart of a growing organization that is creating a legacy of successful projects in urban environments across North America. You will play a critical role in underwriting, analyzing and monitoring the organization’s projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 4 analysts
- Build and manage project proformas
- Build and manage/maintain complex financial models
- Create and maintain multi-year cash forecasts and return metrics
- Assist in preparing and presenting investor presentations
- Complex financial analysis
- Management and Stakeholder/Shareholder reporting
- Real estate valuations, acquisitions, divestitures
- Market research
Requirements:The ideal candidate will have:
- CPA, CFA, or MBA
- 7+ years of Real Estate specific experience
- Deep understanding of project proformas, cash forecasting, and financial modelling
- Excellent, natural leadership qualities to be able to mentor, coach, and guide a team of smart, sharp analysts
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with investors, lenders, and other key stakeholders
