Job description: Job Description:We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in Toronto, Ontario. The role involves a variety of tasks primarily focusing on ensuring smooth office operations within our industry.This is a 4-week contract, fully on-site, 9 AM – 5 PM, starting on November 25th.Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in office functions by setting up necessary supplies
  • Acting as an aiding hand, especially during events by managing food and drink arrangements
  • Welcoming and providing necessary assistance to incoming vendors
  • Responsible for maintaining the office kitchen, including regular replenishment of refreshments and daily snacks
  • Coordinating the booking of office spaces as required
  • Managing inbound calls as necessary
  • Performing other miscellaneous duties as required to ensure efficient office operations.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in performing clerical duties, including filing, typing, copying, binding, and scanning.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively, ensuring timely delivery and quality of products or services.
  • Experience in coordinating events, from planning stages to execution, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously, ensuring all details are handled efficiently.
  • Experience in special event organization, demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Expected salary: $19 – 20 per hour
