Job description: OverviewCT TechnologistThis is a PRN roleThe rate is $33/hr.As a CT Technologist you will perform technical diagnostic CT imaging procedures. Responsibilities
- Performs CT exams
- Prepares equipment
- Equipment and room maintenance after each procedure
- Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained
- Reviews the physician orders to verify the type of diagnostic test requested
- Inform patient of diagnostic procedure being performed
QualificationsRequired Education and Experience
- Education: High School Dioloma/GED required
- Experience: No prior experience required
Required Licensure and Certifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (R) upon hire or transfer
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (CT) within 9 months of hire or transfer
- Certified by the state of Texas â MRAD upon hire or transfer
- BLS-CPR, 14 day grace period
Preferred Education and Experience
- Education: Associates Degree preferred.
- Experience: One (1) year of experience as a radiographer or one (1) year of radiography clinical rotation experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
